संज्ञा (Noun) वह शब्द है जो किसी व्यक्ति, स्थान, वस्तु, भाव या गुण का नाम बताता है।
संज्ञा के प्रकार:
- व्यक्तिवाचक संज्ञा (Proper Noun) व्यक्तिवाचक संज्ञा किसी विशेष व्यक्ति, स्थान या वस्तु का नाम होती है। उदाहरण: राम, दिल्ली, गंगा।
- जातिवाचक संज्ञा (Common Noun) जातिवाचक संज्ञा किसी जाति या वर्ग के सामान्य नाम को दर्शाती है। उदाहरण: लड़का, शहर, नदी।
- समूहवाचक संज्ञा (Collective Noun) समूहवाचक संज्ञा किसी समूह या समुदाय का नाम होती है। उदाहरण: सेना, टोली, भीड़।

- Common नाउन A Common Noun is the general name of a person, place, or thing. अ कॉमन नाउन इज़ द जनरल नेम ऑफ अ पर्सन, प्लेस, ऑर थिंग. Example: Boy, City, River. Pronunciation: बॉय, सिटी, रिवर.
- Collective Noun : A Collective Noun is the name of a group of persons or things taken together. अ कलेक्टिव नाउन इज़ द नेम ऑफ अ ग्रुप ऑफ पर्सन्स ऑर थिंग्स टेकन टुगेदर. Example: Army, Team, Crowd. Pronunciation: आर्मी, टीम, क्राउड.
- Abstract Noun: An Abstract Noun is the name of a quality, idea, or state. एन एब्स्ट्रैक्ट नाउन इज़ द नेम ऑफ अ क्वालिटी, आइडिया, ऑर स्टेट. Example: Honesty, Love, Freedom. Pronunciation: ऑनेस्टि, लव, फ्रीडम.

इस तरह के प्रश्नों को Error Detection Questions या Error Spotting Questions कहा जाता है। 👉 इन प्रश्नों में एक वाक्य को कई भागों (options) में बाँटा जाता है। 👉अगर किसी भाग में grammatical mistake है, तो वही उत्तर होता है। 👉अगर कोई गलती नहीं है, तो उत्तर होता है No Error (5)।
